We are currently focusing on 3 projects. As we grow, we'll commit to more so please check back with us from time to time.

Yiriwa Community School: The Gambia, Africa

We're supporting a nursery school in the Brikama region of Gambia, Africa.

There are currently about 40 students enrolled in the school and we're looking to expand the facilities to help more children. We provide support in the form of stationery, teachers salaries and money for development of new classrooms.

The school is currently putting in the facilities for more classrooms because so many children are missing out. We hope that the work will be finished soon and the school can expand to 100 pupils.

Evironmental education centre: Wales, United Kingdom

Through Treeflights, our selected partner in Wales, we are currently planting several trees every month in a special area known as the 'Chit Chat' Forest. We currently upto about 80 trees.

Once the trees have reached maturity, we will be building an environment centre around the plantation that provides facilities to help teach students about the benefits of sustainable living.

Due to the time it takes to grow a plantation of trees, this is very much a long term project for Social Chit Chat.

Regional education support: Queensland, Australia

This is a new project for us that we are looking to start in 2009.

Following our success with a similar project in the UK, we plan to start providing support to rural schools in Queensland, Australia. The aim is to give the children in regional areas the same opportunities as their urban friends.

We plan to help with bursaries, scholarships, stationery and learning materials these students wouldn't have access to otherwise.
